On 2nd October there will be a Diocesan Music Day called Singing the Lord's Song in a New Time, based at the Cathedral.

Singing DayCome and explore how church music can enrich worship. Experienced speakers and workshop leaders include Adrian Partington, Charlie Groves and Geoff Weaver. The day will end with a celebratory Eucharist in Gloucester Cathedral spanning traditions, at which Bishop Gordon Mursell will preach.

On 20th November, come and sing the Fauré Requiem at Dean Close School. A half-day event directed by Ben Nicholas, with Carleton Etherington as organist. 2.00 rehearsal and 5.00 performance. Bring OUP/Rutter edition if possible - otherwise music will be available. Easy parking and delightful surroundings of Dean Close School.
